KEJRIWAL, WHO VOTED WITH HIS FAMILY, SAID THE POLLS WERE GOING TO END THE DICTATORSHIP

New Delhi: The sixth phase of voting is going on in the country. Many dignitaries have confirmed their citizenship by voting. Meanwhile, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has come from Chandini Chowk constituency with his family to vote. After casting his vote, he said, “This vote is being taken against the dictatorship.”

I voted with my father, wife and children. My mother could not come due to illness. I voted against dictatorship, unemployment and inflation. “You will also go and vote against the same,” Kejriwal said to the media. So, in recent years, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has come on bail in the liquor corruption case.

Along with this, President Draupadi Murmu, External Affairs Minister S Jayashkar, cricketer and politician Gautam Gambhir, Congress leader Sonia Gandhi and President Rahul Gandhi have expressed their opinion by voting.   A total of 25.76 percent votes were recorded in the country till 11 am, while in Delhi 21. 69 percent polling has been received. Meanwhile, West Bengal received the highest voter turnout of 36.88 percent.

The sixth round of voting is going on in the country. Voters are testing the fate of 889 candidates in 57 constituencies of 7 states and union territories. Voting is going on in Odisha including the national capital Delhi and 5 states and 2 Union Territories.

However, prominent candidates in this phase include Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, Rao Inderjit Singh, Maneka Gandhi of BJP, Samvit Pan, Manohar Khattar, Manoj Tiwari, Mehbooba Mufti and Kanhaiya Kumar of Congress.
