Bhubaneswar: Odisha will be drenched in heavy to very heavy rain for the next 5 to 7 days. Another low pressure is coming again on the 19th. Due to which the weather department has warned about heavy to very heavy rain in various districts. Yellow warning has been issued to 6 districts of India. Among them, yellow warning has been issued to Ganjam, Gajapati, Rayagada, Kandhamal, Kalahandi and Koraput districts. There is a possibility of heavy to very heavy rain in these districts in the next 24 hours.
However, there is a possibility of heavy rain today and tomorrow, especially in Nabarangpur, Puri, Nayagarh districts. After low pressure on the 19th, the Meteorological Department has issued a warning to increase the amount of rain in some districts.
However, due to the formation of another cyclone in the West Central Bay of Bengal, it will turn into low pressure on the 19th. In the evening or on the 20th, the low pressure will condense and turn into precipitation. Due to this, there is a possibility of heavy rain in the state. However, due to the low pressure, there will be very heavy rain in Chhattisgarh upstream of Mahanadi, the weather department has predicted. Heavy to very heavy rain is likely to occur in Ganjam, Gajapati, Nayagarh, Puri, Kandhamal, Rayagada, Nabarangpur and Koraput districts in the next 24 hours under the influence of low pressure. Along with this, the weather department has informed that it will continue to rain in various districts of the state till the 22nd.
