New Delhi: After defeating England by 68 runs, India entered the final of the ICC T20 World Cup 2024. India made a challenging score of 171 runs on the strength of Rohit Sharma’s wonderful half century. Later, spinner Axar Patel and Kuldeep Yadav took 3 wickets each to bowl out England for 103 runs. Axar Patel received the man of the match.
The Indian team ended their 10-year wait for the T20 World Cup final and avenged their defeat against England in the 2022 World Cup semi-final. Unbeaten India will face undefeated South Africa in the final on June 29.
Team India had a bad start in this semi-final match. While Virat Kohli returned to the pavilion cheaply, Rishabh Pant also could not stay at the crease for long. The same thing happened in the last match against Australia as well and like that match again the captain Rohit Sharma came up and batted well. Where he got the good partnership of Suryakumar Yadav. Rohit completed his half-century in just 36 balls and shared a 73-run partnership with Surya. Which was the biggest difference in the match.
