In the final stages of preparations for Devasnan Purnima, security is tight

Puri: At night, the holy god bathes in Parnima. The Lord will give darshan to the devotees in the bath hall. In view of the heavy crowd of devotees at the shrine, the security arrangements have been tightened by the Puri police. A total of 68 platoons of the police force have been deployed for yesterday. Among them, 4 officers of SP rank have been employed, while 12 additional SPs, 22 DSPs, 290 sub-inspectors have been employed. In view of the situation, the police has also issued 112 helpline numbers.

Similarly, the traffic system has also been tightened. Devotees will enter the barricade from Market Chowk and pass through the lion gate to see the bathing altar. As there is no vehicle zone from Market Chowk, only pass holders can go up to Market Chowk. Similarly, vehicles coming from Bhubaneswar will park at JBPC via Srisetu via Harekrishnapur.

Special arrangements have been made outside and around the temple. Ticket holders will enter through the south gate during the study period. Devotees will enter the temple through the lion door and exit through the other three doors. On the other hand, it is forbidden to touch Thakur during Pahandi.
