New Delhi: India’s emerging women’s table tennis player Sreeja Akula has entered the round of 16 in the current Paris Olympics. He has impressed everyone with his commendable performance. Sreeja defeated Singapore’s Zheng Jian and will meet China’s Sun Yingyi in the next round. In the men’s 50m rifle 3p finals, the team entered the finals and created a chance for a medal. He scored 590 points and was among the first eight. India’s Balraj Panwar has been eliminated from the medal race in men’s singles sculls.

It is worth noting that Ashwin Ponnappa announced her retirement from badminton women’s doubles after taking leave. It was the third Olympics of his career. He has taken this decision out of frustration as he could not win the medal.
