Bhubaneswar: Heavy to very heavy rain may occur in Odisha till July 20 under the influence of low pressure.
According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), a low pressure area has been predicted to form over the West Central and adjoining Northwest Bay of Bengal by July 19. As a result, heavy rain is likely for three days in the southern districts of the state between July 19 and 20.
On July 16, yellow warning has been issued due to heavy rain in one or two places of Nabarangpur, Koraput, Rayagada, Kalahandi, Nuapada and Malkangiri.
Heavy rain may continue in one or two places of Kandhamal, Nayagarh, Puri, Ganjam, Gajapati, Kalahandi, Rayagada, Koraput and Nabarangpur on July 17th and Ganjam, Gajapati, Rayagada, Kandhamal, Koraput, Kalahandi.
Heavy to very heavy rain is expected at one or two places in Koraput, Kalahandi, Nabarangpur, Kandhamal, and Ganjam districts on July 19, while heavy to very heavy rain is expected at one or two places in Malkangari, Rayagada, Gajapati, Puri, Nayagarh, Khurda, Nuapada, Balangir, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar and Cuttack. It may rain.
The weather department has predicted heavy rain at one or two places in Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Nabarangpur, Balangir, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Balasore, Bhadrak, Nayagarh, Puri, Khordha, Cuttack, Koraput, Malkangiri, Rayagada, Ganjam, Gajapati, and Nuapada districts on July 20.
