Heavy rain in the next 5 days, yellow warning continues for all these districts

Bhubaneswar: Rain is coming. Now that the weather is experiencing a change, there will be a change soon. Then the rain may increase from today. In the next 5 days, light to moderate rain will continue across the state. There may be heavy rain at some places. Coastal Odisha is expected to receive intermittent rain on Wednesday while light to moderate rain may occur in many parts of the state. This has been informed by the Regional Meteorological Department.

According to the information of the department, there is a possibility of heavy rain in Ganjam, Gajapati, Rayagada, Kandhamal, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar and Sundergarh. Heavy rain will occur in Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Nabarangpur, Balangir, Nuapada and Bargarh districts on 27th. Similarly, heavy to very heavy rain is expected in Sambalpur and Bargarh districts on 29th and heavy rain is expected in Angul, Khurda, Nayagada, Boudh, Subarnapur, Ganjam, Gajapati, Mayurbhanj and Keonjhar districts.

Yellow warning has been issued in all these districts. According to the information of the Meteorological Department, the cyclone that will be formed in the Bay of Bengal adjacent to Odisha on 27th will not be that active. It will disappear within 24 to 36 hours after creation. Due to this, it will rain in South Odisha. However, from the beginning of July, Monsoon will be active in West and South Odisha and there may be rain. Light rain will continue in Odisha till the first half of July.

On the other hand, there is a possibility of heavy rain in the western coastal region for the next 5 days. Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a warning. Goa, Konkan, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Kerala, Mahe, Lakshadweep, Gujarat, Durban, Chhattisgarh and other states are likely to experience heavy rain for the next 5 days.
