Half day official holiday in Bhubaneswar for swearing in ceremony

Bhubaneswar: The new Chief Minister of the state will take oath tomorrow at 4:45 PM. The swearing-in ceremony will be held at Janata Maidan. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the swearing-in ceremony. The Prime Minister will arrive at the Bhubaneswar airport at 2:10 tomorrow. From there, he will go directly to Raj Bhavan and after staying for 2 hours, he will leave Raj Bhavan at 4:30 PM and go to Janata Maidan.

However, the state government has announced a half-day holiday on Wednesday for the swearing-in ceremony. According to a notification issued by the Revenue and Disaster Relief Management Department, all government offices in Bhubaneswar and the Revenue and Magistrate Courts in the BMC area will be closed from 1 am on the 12th for the swearing-in ceremony of the new government.

Meanwhile, extensive preparations have been made for the swearing-in ceremony to be held at Janata Maidan. Many VVIPs, eminent personalities, industrialists are going to attend the ceremony and arrangements have been made for their accommodation. Commissionerate of Police has reviewed the situation of Janata Maidan in order to conclude the swearing-in ceremony in a peaceful manner. In addition, the traffic system has also been tightened.
