Srinagar: Encounter in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama. A terrorist was shot by security guards. Security personnel and terrorists clashed in South Kashmir’s Pulwama this morning. The exchange of fire is continuing from both sides. While one of the terrorists was cleared, another one was captured by the security forces.

According to information, 2 to 3 terrorists were hiding in Arshipora area of Pulwama. Later this morning, 55 National Rifles of the army, with the joint cooperation of the CRPF and the police, cordoned off the entire area and conducted a search operation. At this time, the security forces responded after firing from the terrorists.

While one terrorist was killed, another terrorist was apparently surrounded by security guards. The encounter is still going on at that place. Search operation is going on in the surrounding area.
