Freight train derailment in Bhubaneswar: 2 trains cancelled, timings of 6 trains changed

Bhubaneswar: Freight train derailed at Bhubaneswar Mancheswar station yard. At 1:35 p.m., the railway has informed about the line being cut off. 8 coaches have fallen from the railway. As a result, the train movement has stopped. The rescue operation on behalf of the former railway is continuing. In the presence of senior officials, the repair work is continuing on a wartime basis.

Now both the down and up lines have resumed traffic. However, in this incident, 2 trains were canceled while the travel time of 6 trains was changed. Since this incident, all trains from Bhubaneswar to Cuttack and from Cuttack to Bhubaneswar have been stopped. Palasa-Cuttack, Puri-Cuttack passengers have been canceled for today.

A large team has arrived at the scene and is working from night after the trains have been derailed for several days. Railway sources said that after the completion of the rescue operation, the train movement will be normal.
