New Delhi: The Directorate of Public Prosecutions (ED) has summoned ED Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Durgesh Phakkar in the money laundering case related to the Delhi Abkari scam. Durgesh reached the ED after receiving the summons, but now he is being interrogated.
Apart from this, the ED is also interrogating Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s private secretary Bibhav Kumar, who was arrested in this case. Earlier, the ED had already interrogated the reader and Vibhav Kumar in the money laundering case related to the Delhi Abkari scam.
However, Kejriwal is in Tihar Jail after being arrested on March 21 in the much-publicized Delhi unemployment policy corruption case. Earlier, the Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi was also arrested and is in jail. Similarly, App leader and MP Sanjay Singh was arrested in October last year, while the Supreme Court granted bail to Sanjay Singh on April 2.
