Subarnapur-18.08.2023: Thefts and small incidents are increasing in Subarnapur district. Thefts are increasing especially in the district headquarters Hospital. Regarding this, the district web media association has issued a demand letter to the Superintendent of Police, Subarnapur today. The illegal activities are increasing day by day in the district headquarters hospital. It is seen that anti-social youths and miscreants are harassing patients and relatives of patients, and petty incidents of looting of bicycles, motorcycles, mobiles, and money are being observed. Earlier, an outpost was opened by the district police in the district headquarters hospital. Constables and home guards were always on duty. Police personnel were protecting the visitors coming to the District Head Hospital. Many times they were providing correct information and cooperation to the patients and relatives of the patients. Since the police personnel were in the premises of the District Headquarters Hospital, the patients and the relatives of the patients felt very safe.

The anti-social people especially the miscreants did not even go to the premises of the district headquarters hospital. As a result, the staff of the district headquarter hospital felt very safe. It has been more than a year and a half since the outpost went removed. However, it seems that the police are not so quick and careful in preventing many small and big anti-social activities. Therefore, it is necessary to increase their morale in terms of security in addition to protecting the public and visitors to the district headquarters hospital. Therefore, it has been demanded to tighten the patrolling immediately and provide police duty in the district headquarters hospital. The SP has also said that the patrolling will be tightened immediately and police duty will be provided in the headquarter hospital. At the time of issue of this claim District President of the association Pitambara Mahapatra, Secretary Sahadev Meher, Treasurer Sanjaya Sahu, Senior Journalist Thirthabasi Panda, Prakash Bebarta, Dharanidhar Mishra, Pinaki Panda, Sarjan Pandey, Rambhakta Sarangi, Prahallad Das, Sushant Sahu were the prominent attendees.
