Bhubaneswar: The 17th installment of the PM Kisan Honor Fund Scheme will be released today. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will send a total of 20 thousand crore rupees through DBT to the country’s 9 crore 30 lakh farmers from Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. 2 thousand rupees will be given to the farmer. On this occasion, a state-level PM Kisan festival will be organized in Bargarh, Odisha. Chief Minister Mohan Majhi will visit the district for the first time and participate in this event.
The Chief Minister will dedicate PM Kisan to the farmers. Along with the Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister Kanak Vardhan Singhdeo will also be present in this meeting. Similarly, the Deputy Chief Minister will be wearing a dress in the program organized in Puri. This day will be celebrated in various districts and agricultural science centers of the state from 4:30 pm to 7:00 pm.
Suresh Pujari in Cuttack, Ravi Narayan Naik in Nayagarh, Nityanand Gand in Kendrapara, Krishnachandra Pan in Dhenkanal, Prithviraj Harichandan in Khordha, Sifa, Mukesh Kumar Mahaling in Kaushalgang, Vibhuthi Bhushan Jena in Ganjam, Krishnachandra Mahapatra in Angul, Ganen Ramsingh Khuntia in Ladchana, Suryashunti Suraj in Bhadrak, Pradeep Balasamant in Jajpur. Gokulchandra Mallik will be present in Bhanjnagar and Sampad Charan in Jagatsinghpur.
The Modi government launched the PM Kisan Haram Nidhi scheme on February 24, 2019 to provide financial incentives to the farmers who supply food to the country. So far money has been sent to the farmer’s account in 16 installments.
