Chief Minister on 3-day visit to Delhi: Meeting with President, Prime Minister

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Mohan Majhi has gone on a 3-day visit to New Delhi. Two Deputy Chief Ministers Kanak Vardhan Singhdeo and Pravati Parida have also visited Delhi along with the Chief Minister. During this visit, President Daupadi Murmu, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi are scheduled to meet and discuss various issues of Odisha.

There is a program to meet the President at noon today. Similarly, there is information that he will meet Prime Minister Modi and Union Minister Nitin Gadkari in the afternoon. Along with this, there is a program to meet the ministers of various departments of the central government. Union Minister of State for External Affairs Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and many other ministers are scheduled to meet.

This is Mohan Majhi’s first visit to Delhi as Chief Minister after forming the BJP government in the state. During this visit, the Chief Minister of Odisha will draw the attention of the central government on the issues of interest and seek the cooperation of the central government for the development of the state. Similarly, there is information to invite the ride along with discussions on state issues.
