Investigation is going on simultaneously in 9 places in Bhubaneswar, Puri, Cuttack, Angul, Balangir. 2 additional SPs, 8 DSPs, 6 inspectors and other staff are involved in this raid. This raid is going on on the allegation of evasion of non-income assets.
However, yesterday Vigilance caught RW Assistant Executive Engineer Sujith Kumar Padhi of Balangir District Patnagarh while accepting a bribe of Rs 50,000 from the developer. Balangir District Patnagarh Block Butherla was taking bribe from a developer to pay the bills of Revenue Inspector’s office.
