ASTRAZENECA’S BIG ANNOUNCEMENT: THE COMPANY WILL WITHDRAW THE COVID-19 VACCINE FROM THE GLOBAL MARKET AFTER THE CONTROVERSY

New Delhi: No more Covid vaccine can be sold in the market. AstraZeneca has taken steps to withdraw its Covid-19 vaccine from around the world after a controversy arose over the side effects of its vaccine.

This includes Covishield vaccine manufactured in India. The company admitted to the court that side effects such as thrombocytopenia syndrome with thrombosis in the human body due to this vaccine. The company has stated the reasons for withdrawing Bortman Tika from the global market. The company said, “The vaccine is available in the market in excess of the requirement and other companies’ covid vaccines are available in the market. Therefore, the current vaccine is lying in the market as there is no such need. As a result, the company decided to withdraw it.

However, Covishield vaccine has rare side effects. The AstraZeneca company has admitted that problems such as bleeding, heart attack, and brain damage may occur in people who have taken Covishield vaccine. The vaccine was developed jointly by Oxford-AstraZeneca during the Corona epidemic. In India, the company also produced the vaccine in collaboration with the Serum Institute.
