Paris: Indian shooter Manu Bhaker has created history in the current Paris Olympics. In the 10m air pistol mixed team event, the Indian pair of Manu Bhaker and Sarbjit Singh won the bronze medal. They beat South Korea 16-10. In addition, Manu became the first Indian athlete to win multiple medals in one Olympics. Earlier, she also won a bronze medal in the women’s 10m air pistol event. On Monday, Manu and Sarbajit performed impressively and were in third place with 580 points.

Manika Batra has advanced to the quarter finals as the first Indian in the women’s section of table tennis. Manika defeated France’s Prithika Pavade 4-0 in the match played late on Monday.
