Bhopal: The first phase of voting for Lok Sabha elections 2024 in Madhya Pradesh has started today. Voting has started from 29 Lok Sabha seats of MP in Balaghat parliamentary constituency from 7 am today. Voting has started in all 2322 polling stations of Balaghat parliamentary constituency.
This time there has been a lot of awareness among the people regarding the polling in Naxal affected areas. Long lines have been seen outside all the polling centers here since morning. However, an interesting scene has been found inside. After the wedding, the newlyweds directly reached the polling station without going to their mother-in-law’s house. Such a view comes from Hatta village of Balaghat. After getting married, the girl did not go to her mother-in-law’s house and both of them reached the polling station. In this great festival of democracy, the newlyweds said everything else after voting first.
It is worth noting that in the Lok Sabha elections 2024, a three-cornered fight was seen in the Balaghat Lok Sabha seat. Bharti Pardhi has come down to the Maidan as a BJP party, while Samrat Ashok has come down to the Maidan on behalf of the Congress. On the other hand, Mayawati’s team from BSP has come down to Kankar Munja Maidan to fight these two parties. We are saying that Balaghat Lok Sabha seat has been the stronghold of BJP since 1998. BJP has ruled this seat for the last 26 years. Before this, the Congress was ruling here. Before 1998, the Congress had won here 8 times in a row.
