Bhubaneswar: Former BJD MLA and current BJP candidate for Jayadeva assembly seat, Arabinda Dhali will appear before the High Court in the matter of cancellation of MLA post. Arabinda said this at a merger festival held at the BJP office in Bhubaneswar.
Arabinda said, “My assembly post has been canceled knowingly.” It is a unilateral decision. Those who have come from BJD to BJP, MLA posts have been abolished. Arabinda asked why it did not happen to others.
It is worth noting that a few days ago, according to the party change rules, the MLA positions of Arabinda Dhali and Premanand Naik were revoked by Bachaspati Pramila Mallik. The notification was published by the assembly.
