Bhubaneswar: Robotics and IoT have the potential to make our lives easier. Therefore it has also created ample opportunities for employment and livelihood for skilled ones. With an objective to empower the youths of Phulbani, a two days workshop and training program was organised on Robotics at ITI College, Phulbani, Kandhamal from 24th June 2023 to 25th June 2023 by JNV Phulbani Alumni Association (JNVPAA). The purpose of the workshop was to bring latest ideas and technologies into realm of the youth of Kandhamal. So, that youth of the region can also experience the opportunities at par with rest of the country.
Mrs Namita Rani Panda, Principal, Jnv Phulbani, Er Prakash Chandra Sethi, principal, ITI colleges, Phulbani ,Mr Bikash Kumar Digal, President of Jnv Phulbani Alumni Association (JNVPAA) and Mr Bhramara Behera, Vice president of JNVPAA presided over the inaugural ceremony. The resource person for the workshop was Dr Deepak Kumar Rout, Asst Professor, IIIT Bhubaneswar. Dr Rout is an engineering academician and technologist having more than 15 years of rich experience in Robotics and under water visual surveillance. All the guests were truly happy and overwhelmed by such an initiative by the alumni body and encouraged the participants to take advantage of such unique opportunities.
This was the first of the series of workshops undertaken by JNVPAA. In this program, approximately sixty youths were trained free of cost and looking at the enthusiasm of the participants and desire to learn, JNVPAA is planning to impart higher level of trainings in Robotics. The management team of JNVPAA comprising of Mr Bhramara Behera, Dr Pradyut Pradhan, Mr B Rudria, Mr Subrajit Pradhan, Mrs Arati Sahoo, Mr Sukant Digal, Mr Abhilash Nayak played important role in successful execution of the event.
