Hizbul terrorist Yasir Bhat missing from his home, high alert in Jammu

Srinagar: Hizbul Mujahideen terrorist Yasir Bhat, a resident of South Kashmir’s Kulgam, is missing from his home. Yasir was involved in a grenade attack at a bus stand in Jammu city in 2019. He came on bail for a few days. High alert has been issued in Jammu after the disappearance.

However, in March 2019, a civilian was killed in a grenade attack at a bus stand in Jammu, while more than 28 people were injured. Yasir Bhat, the main accused of this attack, is now missing from his house. Keeping this in mind, the security agencies are cautious. Police put up Yasir’s poster in Jammu. People have been requested to give any information about him to the police.

Security forces arrested Yasir Bhat a few hours after the grenade attack in March 2019. He had come to Jammu from Ghati area a day before to carry out this attack. After this attack, he planned to return to that area. But, the security forces, who were hiding about 20 km away from Jammu, captured him.
