Mumbai: Local trains are considered as the lifeline of Mayanagari Mumbai. Every day millions of people use Mumbai local train to go from home to office and then from office to home. But something happened on Wednesday morning, after which people got down on the track and went to the office on foot.
According to information, a complete bamboo structure fell on the railway tracks on Wednesday morning, due to which the railway services were affected. As a result people reached the railway station but did not get the train.
Seeing the delay in reaching the office in the morning, a large number of people got off the track and walked on foot to reach their respective offices.
According to Central Railway officials, local train services on the main line of the Mumbai suburban network were disrupted after a bamboo structure fell on the overhead wire between CN and Matunga stations.
