Bhubaneswar: The state government has appointed a new executive officer in Puri Town Council. With only 10 days left for the Rath Yatra, the state government has appointed executive officers. Senior OAS Abhimanyu Behera has been posted as the new Executive Officer of Puri Municipal Council. A notification has been issued by the Public Administration Department.
According to the notification, the executive officer of Jagatsinghpur Municipal Council, senior OAS Abhimanyu Behera has been transferred as the executive officer of Puri Municipal Council.
Senior OAS Pragyanshree Priyambada was appointed by the state government on March 14 as the executive officer of Puri Town Council. But in one and a half months Abhimanyu Behera has been appointed in his place. It is said that the state government has made this change in view of the ride.
