Balasore: The situation is slowly improving in Balasore city. Curfew has been imposed in Sahdevkhunta and Town Thana areas. Curfew has been imposed from 5 am to 2 am. The curfew has been completely removed from the industrial police station area.
Mobile internet service will be closed only from today only leased line and broadband internet service will be available. All the educational institutions of the city will remain closed today.
It is worth noting that several people were injured in the group clash on Monday. There was an allegation of stone pelting on the force. The police made laches to control the situation. Later, on Wednesday night, curfew was issued in the city of Balasore. While the curfew is in force till today, it was decided to open the supermarkets from 7 am to 11 am in view of the difficulties of the common people for essential goods.
Later it was extended two more times. Now it has been decided to impose curfew from 5 am to 2 am.
