International Yoga Day: Prime Minister to observe yoga day in Srinagar, with leaders and ministers practicing yoga

Bhubaneswar: June 21 and today is International Yoga Day. Yoga Day is being observed all over the world. The day was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, which has now reached 10 years. This year’s theme is ‘Yoga for self and society’. For this, there are special programs in the country, abroad and at the state level. On this occasion, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has joined the state program organized at 7 am on Friday. Sports Minister Suryabanshi Suraj also attended the Kalinga Stadium.

Similarly, Deputy Chief Minister KV Singhdeo joined the state-level Yoga Day ceremony organized at Kaling Stadium. Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida and Puri MP Sambit Patra will join the ceremony at Kasturba School Field in Naples. Apart from this, the members of the state cabinet and MPs and MLAs are also scheduled to attend the yoga ceremony.

On the other hand, today Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the Yoga Day program at Sher-e-Kashmir International Convention Center in Srinagar. The Prime Minister is giving a message to the country and the world on the occasion of Yoga Day. Around 7 thousand people will participate in this program.
