Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has sought the views of representatives of various sections of the society before preparing the full budget. The Chief Minister said, before preparing the state budget, the finance department takes the opinions of the representatives of various sections of the society. Now the government is the government of the people. Therefore, it is necessary to accept the opinions and suggestions of the common people in preparing the budget.
For this, the Finance Department is planning to collect feedback through e-mail, WhatsApp and SMS through a special web portal, said the Chief Minister. Contributions are invited from people in a specific framework. Which is available on web-portal https://budget.odisha.gov.in/. These suggestions can be sent by e-mail to odisha.budget@gov.in.
Similarly, budget related feedback can be sent through WhatsApp to mobile number (+91)9438161111 and through social media X (@FdOdisha), Facebook (@FinanceOdisha) and Instagram (@fdodisha). This facility will be available from 20 June to 5 July.
The Chief Minister appealed to the public, civil society, various constituency associations and other stakeholders to actively participate in the budget preparation program of the state government using this special system.
