Reliance’s board of directors includes Isha, Akash and Anant, Nita Ambani retires

New Delhi: Reliance Industries, the country’s leading company, announced its successor on Monday. Industrialist Mukesh Ambani’s son Akash, Anantu and daughter Isha appointed as board of Directors of Reliance Industries Ltd. Chairman Mukesh Ambani announced this at the 46th AGM of Reliance Industries (RIL).

According to a stock market filing, Reliance Industries said that the company’s board meeting was held ahead of the annual general meeting (AGM). It approved the appointment of Isha, Akash and Anant as non-executive directors. Along with this, Nita Ambani has resigned from the board of directors.

Last year, industrialist Mukesh Ambani announced his eldest son Akash Ambani as the chairman of Reliance Jio Infocomm Ltd, the country’s largest mobile company. However, Ambani remained the chairman of Jio Platforms. Reliance Jio Infocomm comes under this. Akash’s twin sister Isha has been selected for Reliance’s small unit and younger son Ananth for the new energy business.

He said that Jio AirFiber will be launched on the occasion of next Ganesh Chaturthi. This allows customers to access wireless high-speed broadband services. This allows people to access high-speed internet services in areas where fiber optics does not reach. Ambani said that this service will be provided using 5G network. He informed that Jio now has more than 45 crore customers.

India has seen the fastest 5G rollout. Users are using an average of 25 GB of data every month. Jio’s income is always high. Jio’s data traffic is 1.1 billion GB per month. Jio 5G has spread to 96% cities of the country in just 9 months. Jio has about 85% network share in the country’s total 5G services. One 5G customer is being added every 10 seconds, Mukesh Ambani said while addressing the 46th AGM.
