RF Bureau: A case has been registered in Sonepur police station against minister and DMK MLA from Tamil Nadu Udayanidhi Stalin for making controversial comments about Sanatan Dharma.
After filing the complaint on Monday, the media spoke to the representatives, former BJP leaders Baldev Prasad Vedbak and Balaram Singh. He said that Stalin’s comparison of Sanatan Dharma with diseases like dengue and malaria is very reprehensible.
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. K. Stalin was a responsible leader. He said that it is very reprehensible that his son Udayanidhi is inciting religious intolerance in the society. He said that speaking against the religion of the majority population of the country is indecent on the part of MLAs.
Mr. Baldeb Prasad Bedbag said, Udayanidhi has committed a criminal offence. So they have filed a complaint requesting the police to file a criminal case against the Tamil Nadu leader Udayanidhi. He warned that if the police did not take any action, he would take the court against Udayanidhi.
For information DMK Youth Secretary and Tamil Nadu Youth Welfare Minister Udayanidhi said in a meeting on Saturday that the Sanatan is against equality and social justice. He compared it to corona virus, malaria, dengue and mosquitoes.
His comments have sparked strong reactions in various quarters across the country. After calling for the uprooting of Sanatan Dharma, the BJP reacted strongly and demanded sedition charges against Udayanidhi.
